Between Foligno and Spoleto, Trevi rises on a hill in a dominating position as rispect to the valley where the Clitunno river runs. One of the most interesting artistic moments for those who are going to visit this small town is surely the Sant'Emiliano church of the XII century, with three apses adorned by pilaster strips and small archs on corbel. On the inside there is the Sacramento altar, a rifined work of art attributed to Rocco da Vicenza (1522).
Besides the San Francesco church, gothic from the 1200’s , that gives hospitality to frescos from the XIV e XV century, it is interesting to visit the city hall from XV century palazzo comunale, the picture gallery where you can admire a Madonna of Pinturicchio and a coronation of the Maria of Spagna. Not far from the center of town you can reach in a short time the Madonna delle Lacrime church (1487) whit a beautiful fresco of Perugino and the romanic church of San Pietro in Bovara.
